Title: "The only thing wrong with your boat is that it's completely rotten"

Heres a rebuild I finished. Was so rotten I didn't take the floor out, I swept it up.

DONE! Only thing I didn't do was the seats. And I didn't rebuild one base. 45hours. Booyah!

Nice Job :) what is the speckled material you used or is that a coating or speckled paint

It's called seaway? By nautolex I think. We just call it no-squid (as in nonskid). It's vinyl flooring with a heavy duty pebbly texture. Glues down. Real easy to work with as flooring, tough to upholster stuff as it doesn't like to bend crisply. Heat helps though. 74" wide.

Thanks guys! And thanks random spammer for bumping this thread! I'd forgotten about this one...two winters ago I think? Nice to look at something you did a while ago and think you did it well. Just today I did some repairs/adjustment on a top I made in my first year in the trade....I would really have liked to rebuild it. Whatta piece of crap. On the bright side maybe I'll look at this thread in 10 years and think 'Oh god what did I do to that boat?'
