I said I would try and show some other ways to share photos here or for that matter anywhere. I will post links to photos in here to see how they work. I will start with

These should get you some options to work with other than Photobucket as they have become pretty bad.
They all worked for me. Where is the one with all the pretty girls looking for a husband, asking for a friend.
Does this friend have a new work shop ?
SA
um, ha ha, the shop is not all that new.
Is it possible to post a picture to use as an avatar? I entered a quilt in the 2018 Nebraska State Fair this summer. Much to my amazement, it was awarded a ribbon. I am standing by the quilt, grinning like an idiot. Think the ribbon got cut out when I cut the pixels down so I could use it on another forum.
Thanks!
Virginia
I think all the avatars are gone now. As are the smileys and font options. The forum has been "dumbed down" quite a bit. Not much traffic here any more.
I saw that. Too bad as there is a lot of good info here. I refuse to do the facebook thing.

I mostly quit fakebook last month. Too much negativity even on groups where there should be no negativity like Pop Up Camper Owners and Buy, Sell, Trade Gainesville. I would have deleted my page if not for my business page. Facebook will not let you manage a business page without a personal page. One group I still like to visit is Salt Strong, a fishing group.
Facebook is losing members and this spurs my hope that someday The Upholstery Forum will rebound. Wishful thinking perhaps.

Back in this forum's heyday when there was a lot of traffic, there was also a fair amount of negativity. Threads had to be deleted, and members had to be kicked off. The Carr's Corner forum was born from the negativity here.
Local FB groups can be brutal. There's one in my town that I had to quit because absolutely everything I said, somebody bit my head off. But I really enjoy the upholstery groups on FB. What some would consider "negativity", I see as diversity. I enjoy the wide range of viewpoints.
