Title: Foam
Post by: SteveA on December 04, 2017, 01:29:13 pm
This is a recent job.  Hand made chairs from India, a set of eight - have been in the clients family for years.  The foam is like toast.  How do people sit on this when the chair was 15 years over due for new foam, tighten springs, and new fabric.  Especially when this client has the financial means to arrange for restoration any time they like

Its always nice when customers recover before the expiration date. That dosn't happen often. !5 years seems like a short lifespan for latex.

Indeed 15 yrs is not much of a lifespan for latex. But given that they were from India, it was probably cheap latex.

How do people sit on it? Lazy. I think we're all guilty of that in some form or another.
