Title: photos of my laser technology
Post by: gene on July 26, 2017, 05:47:48 pm
Google photo photos of my laser guided electric cutter - with kickstand. I'm thinking of having the kickstand chrome plated to match the chrome on the cutter. Maybe have the handle painted purple metal flake in memory of the Triumph 650 I had many moons ago?

Is there any way to make these image addresses shorter?

Yes it must make cutting a lot easier. I find it hard to focus on the line I need with mine also. I will be giving this a try. Explain the kickstand more please.

Gene if those are google files you should be able to make a permanent link like I do.
Gdurl.com and you need to first allow sharing.

Thanks 65, I'll look into that when I get some time to play with it.

Paul, when I set my electric cutter down on the table it rolls to the right and stops when the laser on top bangs the table. I drilled a hole in the very back of the green plastic cover and inserted a 4" or so metal rod. A piece from a metal coat hanger would work. The metal rod only sticks out the right side because the cutter only rolls to the right. Now when I put the cutter down on the table it sits upright, keeping the laser light from hitting anything. You can see that in the picture. Hence the reference to a kickstand.

Same here. I got them the first time, but not now.

Testing this link. Let me know. Revisit it later to see if you can still see it. If it works, I'll start using it instead of PB.

I responded to this earlier but it never made it.
Anyway I see you Dennis, three times once at the shop and twice here.
You need to charge more to make up for the lack of change nowadays. I hit pay dirt today I found like 50 cents in a sofa. Was going to take the crew out for lunch but never did make it.

picture opened fine , even in this heat. We're in the middle of 2 weeks of 30+ degree C weather which is roughly 90. Five months from now I'll be whining that it's -30. I'll have to check out that service/app./ what ever.

I had my retirement all planned out when we adopted first the one dollar and then the $2 coin up here. Then everyone got a debit card. I may have to keep working just for the chip crumbs and peanuts that still pour freely from so many projects.
