Title: decorative stud strips
Post by: jimmyspenser on July 22, 2014, 08:08:40 pm
Good title.....
but not the decorative stud strips you might have first thought of

I unfortunately agreed to cover a friends Chaise Longue, besides the fact that the fabric she chose is curtain not upholstery fabric she wants studs around the edges like these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-20-Metre...item8bc0c768ff

has anyone ever used them .... are they flexible enough to go round a scroll arm or are they just for straight edges. I have had a quick look on mydeczo and searched you tube but no luck

Your link was removed but I do brass tacks the old fashion way. One at a time.

if they are the nail strips I think you mean. Each "nail head" joined by a small piece of metal and about every 3rd or 4th piece has a hole to put a real nail into.
These strips  can be flexed around curves. But they do not look as good as nails done one at a time.
