Just thought I would share a couple of pics of some recent behavior. The big yellow boat took about twice as long as I anticipated.

Wow, very nice job, lots of different shapes etc. looks like it was a nightmare to template! Rock on!
I was thinking the same thing. A good snug fit that prevents flapping at highways speeds is important, you sure nailed that one, Tim.
Looking good tim what canvas is that ?
Great job Tim. Looks great. :)
Chris
Thanks for the encouragement folks. The fabric is Aqualon.
Great job Tim. I don't want to see your bar tab after that yellow LOL. What a bearcat!!!
Nice! They're time-consuming though. All those reinforcing patches and sewing on straps. Much more work than a simple drawstring or ratcheting strap.

Yeah, if they raise the minimum wage here in the US I will be in violation of paying myself to little! :-[
tim the yellow boat how many yards was it ?
Nice. How is that Aqualon to work with? I've been wanting to try it.
It took about 22 yards. The Aqualon is 9.5 oz and slick on the top. I did not like it at first but it has become my fabric of choice for small boat covers. The shiny finish tends to amplify any puckering and wrinkles but it seems to smooth out and dull up a bit with a little time.
Maybe I've done it wrong, but I like Aqualon with the fabric side out. I'm sure the vinyl side sheds dirt better, but I like the matte finish to show - kinda like Seamark. I do like working with Aqualon and will probably do our own boat full cover with it.
