Title: Assuming your business does earth moving equipment seat rebuilding:
Post by: baileyuph on January 30, 2014, 05:59:16 pm
What materials do you use to cover?

I have been using heavy duty tranportation seating vinyl, for example road trucks.   A lot of my earth moving seating is enclosed and not subject to moisture.  I am wondering what would be preferred for seating that is subject to moisture and would be relatively  durable?

Anyone crossing this bridge frequently?

Those original seats are molded - right Mike?  We see this on similar small water vessels.

But, when it comes times to recover, molded isn't there - not available.  Instead using the stretch (in almost a 360 degree circle ) can be used to combat wrinkles, but it isn't the same quality as original molded seats from factory.

Don't know maybe a protection cover from sun and moisture is answer?
