Title: See.....not ALL my customers are cursed
Post by: sofadoc on November 16, 2013, 05:28:42 pm
Here's a local band that has been quite successful on the contemporary Christian scene for nearly 20 years. I've watched them grow up right here in Greenville, Tx. I've coached their kids in T-ball, and upholstered something for them every time the stork came (and he came a lot).

Here's one of their latest:

It is neat to know someone famous.

Richard Mullins was a rather famous Christian singer and song writer who died a number of years ago, 1997. My wife had been a good friend of his since he was a teenager. Amy Grant recorded one of his songs, "Sing Your Praise To The Lord", back in the 1980's.

The video was filmed at the D'Licious Diner, and on the streets of Huntsville, Alabama.

The group doesn't tour as much as they used to. The lead singer recently announced plans to move to Nashville, so he could focus more on songwriting.
While the members of the group are all doing more solo stuff nowadays, the band is still very much together.

They are really good. I enjoyed that. Thanks for posting.

Christian Rock has become very popular in the last decade or so. Here are two earlier versions of
Christian Rock which were made back in " our days ". Many never knew Tommy James was a Christian and wrote some of his songs based on the bible.

Two classics:
