Title: Marine folding deck chair recover
Post by: jsquail on April 26, 2013, 05:58:41 am
I have a customer who is interested in having his three marine folding deck chairs recovered in sunbrella and I am having a hard time with the price quote. He has 2 single seaters and a double seater. Has anyone recovered these in sunbrella?

Funny that I just did two single seats in Nautolex Sahara, worst bit was making the matching hidem.

That's cheap with new wood mike. Too many t nuts.

I'd only use hidum on the outside back and staple mesh on the bottom of everything else. Maybe with a welt but never with hidum.

Neither would I given the choice, but they wanted it the same as original  :(
& the wood sure is some cheap rubbish.

Thanks. no way i can do those in sunbrella for 180. too much time in making the welt and hidem. if i chose to do the hidem route.
