Apparently some Consew machines are now made in China. Does anybody know if the Consew 146RB is made in Japan?

If memory serves me correctly almost all machines are now made in China. Pfaff, Adler, Juki, Consew, Chandler, Highlead, etc.

If not china, some other outsourced country.....it is a shame really, and the government wonders why we are in financial distress!

I have seen some Sony products made in china. Japanese outsourcing their own prooducts now.ughhh. Would really be nice to get manufacturing back in this country.

If it is an older Consew, it might have been made in the Seiko Japan factory, if it is new, it would be Chinese.
