Title: Snap Spacing
Post by: brankin on September 21, 2012, 04:56:33 am
Good Morning All,
I am installing snaps for an enclosure today and I am wondering what you guys use for spacing.  I am looking at 10-12" between snaps and I think that will give enough holding power.  I am trying the peel and stick bases so I will let everyone know how they work.  If they don't, I can always go back to the drill type.
Have a great day
Brankin

Usually I figure out where the panel separations will be and mark for a fastener 1-1/2" on either side
to allow room for the zipper. Then I determine if any cutouts or other requirements dictate fastener
placement between the panel zippers and mark those. Once that is done I will divide the space in between
equally. 10" - 12" should be fine but sometimes it's a little less or more.
