Is the flat washer thing on the inside and push the stud part through the plastic panel board then into the hole in the boat. I've never trusted using theese so it all new to me and I though I'd try it
I don't this my pad have the washer as I havnt removed the. Inky get but did have some break on and can't tell if there was of not a flat
Piece inside?
You have the idea Mike,
The fastener goes through before you upholster the panel. There are many many different sizes so make sure you get them the same shaft size and length that you need.
I've seen lots of them on Intrepid coaming pads. They work like a champ. Love em! So much easier than bolt-through if the part doesn't have be structural or hold weight. I like the double ended ones like this.

Pretty sure Miami carries them. Auveco manufacturers a very nice selection of panel fasteners.

I have to give them a try mike is there different diameter shaft size To fit my holes perhaps there all one size fits all.
As I recall, they require a 1/4" hole.
