Title: CHAFE POINTS ON A DODGER

Looking for suggestions.. What is the best material to use on chafe points on a dodger..?

I use either hurculite or tuff stuff in  a matching color

So many different fabrics from Herculite.. which do you use?  Riviera, Regatta, Regatta II, Aqua-tex II..?

  Depending on where the point is.....
If its where the lines run from the mast to the cockpit, I bind it with leather as well as the lower outer edge of the dodger where a sheet might pass by..
If its inside where a joint might be wearing against the fabric.. I use scrap stradaglass neetly sewn in place..
Over the forward and rear top of the dodger, where hand holds might be, I use a heavy vinyl....
