Title: Foam grows on trees?
Post by: Peppy on August 22, 2011, 02:34:13 pm
First there was soyabean foam, now this says they're making foam from pulp paper waste-

I bet they find a way to increase the price anyway.

I wonder if our newspapers will start printing on foam. Those guys who through it out the car window will be able to bounce it up onto folks porch.

They make is sound "green" and good for the planet but look at all the additional chemicals that need to be used.

It is a cool idea.

I want to know if this new technology will reduce the outrageous cost of foam. :)

Cool idea.

too late to save the newsprint mill back in Kenora, but I wonder how much the soft wood industry is going to get behind this as they are always talking about "value added" spin offs.
