Title: See Anything You Like ?
Post by: Mojo on August 16, 2011, 07:12:37 am
I bet a few of you guys think this is a video of Clearwater Beach. :) Wrong.......lol

I am guessing this guy is a Juki dealer.  ;D With a pocket full of cash I would go nuts in this dealer showroom.

I was thinking more Hooters. You have a VIP card to that place?

The video was good though. How'd you like a work room with that setup.

Nice mix of machines, without a shadow of a doubt the cleanest show room I've ever seen of industrials.

Clean, indeed.  This is where I bought my Singer about 6 years ago...  Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page for a view of the "showroom"... if you can call it that.

Yeah, Mike.  They have some little German guy who dresses like "Santa's Helper" according to my daughter.   The day we picked up my machine he was wearing green coveralls and a red t-shirt.  Doesn't speak any English, but he knows his machines.  They're about 30 minutes down the road from me.  There's a HUGE garment district in Miami so lots of industrials around here.  It's a real education just to go through their website and look at the one-off specialty machines.  Truly amazing engineering.   Just for fun, go here and enter a search in your browser for "STROBEL".  Dang things look more like pressure cookers than sewing machines  :-\

I suppose the dealer gave you a free t-shirt as well........... ;D I just got off the phone with our buddy and gave him more crap about that T-Shirt deal. Got him laughing all over again.

I tease him by calling you his " Golden Child "...........lol.... When I tagged you as our Marine Queen I didn't mean for all the freebies to go to you......Geeeessshhh. lol.......

If I ever get over your way I am going to stop in to that dealer just to see the many machines he has. Do you know of any high end fabric shops there that serve the garment industry ? My wife wants to visit a fabric shop that sells the higher end fabrics. Kind of like Jo Ann's on steroids. She could careless about vinyl she is after chiffons and such. :)
