I plowed through several EZ staplers in a short amount of time about 6-8 years ago. They just kept breaking down.
But they may be better now. It seems like a lot of people like them.
Being a couch guy, I run up on a lot of hardwood frames that boat guys don't usually have to contend with. And I'm always hitting springs, clips, and other metal objects.
If you're just going into plywood most of the time, the EZ gun might give you good service.
Personally, I would pay a little more for a BEA, or Rainco, or comparable brand.

Senco makes a good gun too. I like the sleek design of the BEA for getting into tight places.

Mike,
I have the same problem with my Bea gun; the bpkunger is messed up (whatever the heck that is...is it Mike speak?)
Since it was an expensive gun, I'm wondering if it's possible that it can be repaired? If so, who would you take it to?

I don't know if I could find parts I'd do it myself

Bpkunger? Must be a German word.
There's not a whole lot to those BEA staple guns. Try this site for parts and schematic,

I am still using my Harbor Freight stapler. I have had it for about two years now and have had no problems. Not even a jam. It shoots 1/2" crown staples.

If it breaks I will throw it in the trash and go spend another $ 19 for a new one...lol.

I just do not use it a lot to justify a pro model. My friend has used it more then I have. :)

Thanks Kody!  :) Mojo, I use mine constantly, so I think I will get the Harbor Freight gun as a backup.
