Title: How to sew a wege piece ,
Post by: lizzieb on November 04, 2015, 08:58:21 am
I am working on a boat cover and have to incorporate a pie shaped piece coming around the windshield - what is the best way to sew this?  I have tried a couple of different things but end up with an unsightly lump where the  pieces come together.  I am almost done (Yea!!) but, really need some sound advice on how to do this the right way.
Thanks,
Liz

a photo of the area would help
but sewing in a pie like a dart at the end look crappy unless you can run a seam all the way across the cover ho eliminate thre  pucker

this cover I had to use a wedge at the window and ran the seam across the window across the cover http://s5.postimg.org/jcqfzh4qt/121_077.jpg
