This is seriously cool - Philips and German chemical giant BASF have teamed up to create a state-of-the-art roof for vehicle cabins that combine OLED panels with solar cells to create an open-air feeling and provide sunlight throughout the day.

We think it looks cool, but other blogs have described the prototype as a "futuristic dentist's chair" and even a "new millennium toilet." You be the judge...
