Eric:

In the awning business stretching is a bad thing. Especially with RV awnings. Sunbrella stretches, sometimes badly.

I also heard from some in the mill industry that they changed their fiber mixing to China as well as their chemical formulas.

Recacril used to be a great fabric but their quality went down hill big time. There have been a lot of claims from companies using it.

Tempotest is made in Italy and Sattler is made in Germany. Both are the best acrylics in the world. Sunbrella is rarely used in Europe and is considered junk there.

Chris
SUNBRELLA has never been a problem except once with striped awning canvas  I had th white stripes rot in a year.   yes it streaches but you can pattern for that its the shinking with snap on covers were the owner could no longer snap then is were recacril shined but they say tempotest is the same. BUT I DONT KNOW

I'm trying to picture why you have to cram the cushion under the neck of the machine?

Can you not close it up with the cushion out to the left of the needle?
yes paul you can but you still have a good portion of foam in the way getting rthe seam close enough to sew shut  , I like genes idea of pushing the foam in the cushion back

I shouldn't but will take a big money job and get them what they want  that delays other smaller jobs longer then they should ive got one now id like to have done last month .
but I have one small job 4 cushions on a boat , a repeat customer. anyway he got the price then waited  10 days or so to get them to me and told me how soon he needed them.  I told him impossible he was going to call around    cool          so 10 more days pass and  the seats are dropped off   get them as soon as I can.

I too am good at numbers. If I take my shoes and socks off I can count to 20. If I drop my pants I can go all the way up to 21.

I am tired of the cold. I am allowing myself to be negatively impacted by the cold, i.e., I'm whining a lot about how cold I am all the time. I just do not like the cold any more.

If I should ever move to Florida, I would do so only to live there and not work.

id love not to work but i settled for work and play in florida its like half my life is back  half the year dormat in new England , me at play last week after work when it was 80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-Ajf0nUr8g
