Got a large one in to reupholster back to manufacture lines (several colors and none linear lines).

The job hasn't been started, from previous experience manufacturer used bonded foam backed vinyl.  This seems ideal, the question is do most who do a lot of marine use the same vinyl in rework or address the foam backing issue in a different way, for example sew foam? What  do will much be driven by what is available in required colors.  That might be an availability issue - don't believe I have samples of this vinyl.  Most times I have used vinyl sourced from manufacture(s) of the interior (ideal match).

Any details would make interesting reading.  I probably won't get into the project this week.

Thanks in advance,

Doyle

I use the best match vinyl and add 1.4 foam or sewfoam
