How do people close up injected headrests? I can seem to find a nice clean eay.

I should add i made a custom cover for a sprinter van head rest that was molded had no clips or anything.

I'm a furniture guy. I have never worked on autos. I'm curious, what is an injected head rest? Can it be closed by hand with a blind stitch?
There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.
