Fun with solicitors

A friend of mine has a son who is a prosecutor in our city. The son was quoted awhile back as saying, about a criminal, "He's a real bad dude." My friend said she asked her son why he would say that. She had never heard him use the word 'dude' before. He said he didn't say it. The newspaper just made it up, like they do with most of the quotes they publish.
