Hey yesterday we saw off the guys & girls on the Volvo Ocean Race from Alicante, bit of a slow start because there wasn't much wind.
Next stop CAPE TOWN.

Wow. That's got to be exciting to see, even with little wind. I remember reading about this race way back when I was in High School. It was the Whitbred back then.

I've always been fascinated with round the world sailing. I'm a land lubber who only dreams of getting my feet wet.

If reincarnation is true, then I think I must have been a sailor in my previous life. Hey, I wonder if going from being a sailor to being an upholsterer is a step closer to Nirvana, or a punishment for too much bad karma?  :)
