A customer is looking to have this redone and I think it is vacu-formed which is not in my expertise. but if anyone has some other ideas, I'm open for suggestions. Thanks Debra

A couple years back I did one very similar for a decorator. It must have been 50 years old and we recovered it in leather.

The fabric was spray glued on and had to be very careful getting it off (I used a steamer). If you mess up the foam it'll show right through the new fabric. The chair was unique that it had no seams. The way its curved allows you to glue and stretch the wrinkles out. Be sure to use plenty of glue because when you start pulling the fabric it lets go. Glue the part under the cushion first and let it dry awhile. That's the part that likes to come apart.

I remember it was a real pain and I didn't charge enough. Figure what you need to make and double it.

Would I do another one? Probably not. I cant believe that price. Good luck.

I have repaired my womb chair may be a year back.I hired a person and what he exactly did,I don't know but was impressive for me.I liked his work.Lets see how long I can carry on with this rebuilt one or else I am planning to order one more from the store I last ordered, http://www.regencyshop.com/p115/Womb-Style-Chair-&-Ottoman/product_info.html (http://www.regencyshop.com/p115/Womb-Style-Chair-&-Ottoman/product_info.html).They have a good collection.Anybody with any other suggestions are welcome. That will help me decide where from to get the new womb chair I am planning. The more choices I have the better.
Thanks
