Title: Stocko Snap Fasteners
Post by: skaman on June 30, 2010, 06:58:27 pm
I want to replace some rusty snap fasteners.

The sockets are stamped STOCKO.

Does anyone stock this brand in the US?

Thanks for the help!

A picture, in this case especially, would be worth a thousand words . . .

I can only find STOCKO snaps in Germany.  It looks like they were in widespread use at one time.  They look like standard line 24 nickel plated snaps.

Pics of the closest match I've found:

Are they a different size or something? I mean, is there a reason you wouldn't just use Fasnap or Dot snaps? Actually, if they're rusty, Fasnap may be the better option as they make snaps that are 100% stainless.
