I'm in the process of refinishing the wood at this time.
I guess the paper acts as a washer to prevent the tacks from cutting right through the leather (or vinyl). Makes the tacks easier to see and remove if they have to re-adjust.
Looks like they just grabbed some insulation from a nearby wall to quiet the springs.
Shoe lace, chewing gum, baling wire. I've seen it all.
OMG, that's hysterical!! :o Guess we can ditch all our suppliers and just get what we need at Home Depot, eh?
