Need help Identifying a part

Hello. I am reupolstering the seat on an "Indiana Chairs" office chair. I cannot seem to find anything online about what the brown wavey staps are in the photo linked below. One of them is broken and needs to be replaced. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
