I have a question on leather staining, is there any other way to post a picture besides photobucket? there are so many ads that I can't get to the actual page I need. My pics are stored on One Drive but I keep getting a message that upload path cannot be found. Please help!

In regard to PB let the adds open and play out before uploading.  They want to do their thing and it's annoying but that's the soft-wear.  I never tried to upload from one drive but from a file on my computer there's no problem.  Good luck and someone will be by to add advise for another method for posting photos

Testing this...

The first link is to an image on the Upholster Facebook page. I chose an image there and clicked it to get the actual web address for the image, and that is what I pasted here. When you open the link, it will first open a mass of stuff, but if you are patient, the right image will eventually emerge.

The second link is to an image on one of my home pages. I right-clicked the image to get the web address for it, and then pasted it. This seems to be the easiest, provided you have a domain where you can upload stuff. For those of you who have your own website, that shouldn't be a problem. If your website is managed for you  by someon else, then you should be able to get the access details and use a free upload program, like FileZilla.

The bad thing about photo bucket is every time someone wants to look at your photo they have to go through the same spam quagmire. If you have a Google account you can use Google Photos to store pictures.

1. Once you are on Google Photos click upload, top right corner. This will open your photos file from your computer. Double click the photo you want to upload.
2. When uploaded find your photo and double click on it.
3. Next click the share icon. The share icon is at the top right and looks like 3 balls with 2 lines connecting them.
4. A white box will appear. Click Get Link. The link is already highlighted in blue. Right click on it and copy.
5. You can now post the link on the forum.

Perhaps One Drive has a similar link option.

Pasting links from other websites has never been the problem. Our problem is posting a personal photo that we wouldn't want to upload on our own websites.

www.postimage.org still has thumbnails that you can right-click and paste here. Let me know if you get hit with ads (I don't see any on my end). After creating an account and uploading your pic to postimage, you have to click on the "share" icon, and then right click and copy the "thumbnail for forums" link.

All these options of third party image hosting are fine and all but it is still jumping through hoops to post a pic here. Not so much for the viewer but for the poster it is.
Iinger why doest this forum sw allow tjese thing on its own? Im sure the answer has benn said b4 but i dont remember it.

I've said this before. Some times I'll consider posting with an image. If its late, If I'm tired or if the post isn't important I may decide its too much hassle and skip it. This is another reason we do not see the traffic on the forum like we once did.

Regardless I can see the two chairs and they are the priority size photos. But to answer your question Sofa on my screens there is photos surrounding the chairs.

Spam ladies: That is how the free online apps are financed. Nothing to do about it unless you have a spam blocker.

I had to look back through these post for the tip answer: but its somewhere else posted.  I recall that this particular photobucket you speak of changed a bit. This was recognized by many here and several other sites I surf, in that there pic's could not be seen on sites. It was found the membership was changing to a cost, and or raising the cost.

I agree all this is troubling, but believe me this is only but one site like this. Again I veiw many regularly that have this same somewhat new issue. To add something, I have heard the code writers and that obviously higher level computer website people might just have serious gripe with " a lot " of these photo transfer or hosting sites. I think this is besides the fact smart phone code is smaller/ compact in some (idk) tech writter way.

Good day
