General Discussion / Re: Spammers AGAIN
July 12, 2011, 12:15:38 pm
I've banned 6-8 people so far today but it's not noon yet here (CALIF).
I've had that many rejected today for trying to register with fake emails.
I'll try to look into more advanced registration filters-we are using the most difficult that comes with this board but people may be simply registering the normal way.

I've been providing this board for over a dozen years and I hope it is working for you folks otherwise.

General Discussion / Lost posts

It took longer for the forum to get transferred than expected. All posts since Tuesday morning have entered the Twilight Zone. It may take a few days for me to get the structure back like it was but at least the rest of the data survived.

You can use any spread sheet like MS Excel. Or free like I think OpenOffice is.
Make columns for date, customer, total sale, sale without sales tax etc. Make another for the year or quarter.

Make another sheet for expenses.
Set it up for the deductions you will be making from your  business profit and loss at end of year.
You should be able to do your taxes from this info. Check IRS forms for Profit and Loss to decide what columns to have.

General Discussion / leather buttons
January 05, 2011, 01:02:37 pm
Any ideas on how to get buttons to come out looking good when made in leather?
#30s-a customer of mine is having trouble. I remember pounding out some heavy vinyls and leathers to get them thinner.

Please do not click on links within the spam topics. They make money when you do and come back to post again. Bobby or I have to open each spam topic and delete them one at a time. The most recent ones are coming out of Russia.
