Ok, sounds like I'm not quite as old as all of you old curmudgeons. I'm 48. But it seems like just this year was when I started to feel like I was slowing down a little.

You're right on schedule, Jojo.  :)  That was the age I began thinking that my days of working on mega Coverlite covers and repairing pool covers were coming to an end.

I hope you're as comfy as the kitty on your picture is.  Tell me about that kitty...

When you're not nearby (or can't hear them :-) they call you "That old fart down on St. John's Street."

One of my moving & storage customers this morning said he was trying to get transferred to Pittsburgh to open a branch there.   He said his brother lived there, was a banker, and had a lot of contacts with older rich people, like in their 40s.  <sigh>  Young twerp.

When I was a kid, young women called me "Darlin", "Sweetie", or "Honey". :-*
Then for the next 30 years, it was "Hey, watch it jerk!". Or "Move outta the way Buttface!" >:(

Now, I've reached the age where they're calling me "Darlin" again. :-*
Senility does have it's priviliges. ;D

BTW Get well Jojo. Those seams ain't gonna sew their self, ya know.

Ain't it the truth  ;D  I refuse to join just because that would be an admission that I'm not 35 anymore.

That's our kitty Elly. They say we spoil her. Maybe so. But I don't think I'll ever be quite that comfy. She's a pro.

So normally at this time of year, business is really slow. But as luck would have it, since the day I went to the hospital, I've had lots of calls every day. And not looky loos either...they all need it done now. They have all agreed to wait until next week, though, so I feel lucky. Getting better everyday. Still feel old though. As soon as I get better, I'm getting on a physical fitness regime. I don't want to go to the hospital again if it can be avoided (although there's nothing that could've prevented appendicitis). It just got me thinking...what if the next time it's a stroke? Or heart problems? Gotta start drinking from that fountain of youth!

If i were as old as I feel I'd be 35. To bad the young ladies don't see it that way. :D

Hang in there Jojo. You'll be back on your feet in no time.
There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.

Must be one of 'those' ages jojo. I am 48 as well. I have a bit of a back problem that tends to poke it's head up when the weather cools off, so this year I have decided to learn some yoga. I only done a couple of sessions so far but can feel the muscles loosening off already. I am also determined to get more fruit & veg in my diet ATM I eat almost no fruit so it has got to be a good thing. Thought I would try smoothies & juices ( home made) as it's quick & easy, plus you can sneak things in that you would not normally eat. Spinach for one.
