Hello awning guys,
Who are producers of acrylic coated polyester fabrics in the US. I am looking for the manufacturer of a fabric sold under the "Texout" name in Europe and distributed by Giovanardi in Europe. The fabric is supposedly manufactured in the US. I have been googling around for an hour now and do not get anywhere.
Are there any other producers besides Glen Raven in the US? Thank you for any information!

How to you guys out there deal with the edge wire? I was taught to first tie the springs and attach the edge wire after completing the spring tying. But that was old school when we also hand tied the edge wire with twine to the springs. (Unbelievable time consuming and tedious) To me it seems if I clip the edge wire on after spring tying the clips cut into my twine and weaken it, or even cut the spring twine completely. So the last few times I attached the edge wire first and then tied the springs, which to me makes the spring tying a lot harder because the front row is already one unit and you have to fight it to get the springs to the right height. Or is there another way I have not seen or thought about?

I finally relocated from Montana to Tampa and set up shop. Things are quite different down here. One thing I am hoping the forum is able to help me with is finding a supplier of quality HR foam. Does anybody have a source here in FL?
And since I am typing, in the move my leather skiver got damaged, are there any repair places you guys could recommend?

I am thinking of relocating my shop- workroom to the Tampa area, focusing on the same model as now, custom furniture and re-upholstery, catering to  upscale interior designers and architects. So I am trying to get a feel of the pulse for the area. Any input or ideas are appreciated.

Does anybody have  pictures of some finished 48 willys seats, I am a furniture guy and got sucked into doing the 2 front seats, I only have  the frames and I can't find good pictures on the web. Also what material would you recommend Vynil or Canvas, customer does not care about period-correct or original. Also what kind of foam goes in there, I was thinking of a 2" firm foam. Thanks for any leads.

Has anybody experience using a decorative nailgun like the RO-MA sold by www.stapleheadquarters.com. I am hesitant to throw $1000.- at the gun unseen and untested, or does anybody know of different brands or systems.  Thanks
